On October 20th 2016, World Water Partnership was held during Korea International Water Week (KIWW) in Daegu. This session organized by Korea International Water Week and Asia Water Council gathered participants at the Ministerial level from previous host countries of the World Water Forum and chiefs of the national committees and organizations. It aims to ensure the success of the next World Water Forum, to build a consensus and a global agenda through a solid partnership for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
GIWEH hopes to see a strong partnership from this initiative and calls for follow-up after this first session to move forward with this cooperation towards concrete and ambitious goals.
