From 13-15 December 2016, GIWEH will participate in the Symposium of Implementation plan of Human Rights and 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda in the Arab Region at the Marriot Hotel at the Dead Sea in Jordan. The Symposium is part of the Planetary Initiative launched by the National Center for the Human Rights and the Arab Network for National Human Rights. The Symposium targets civil servants and international experts who are working on development and human rights at the National Human Rights Institution to support the knowledge base and dissemination of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. GIWEH will actively participate in the conference to discuss how to make the shift from MDG to SDG, with an emphasis on environmental protection and inclusive growth.
