From May 31st - June 1st, 2016, Mr. Moez Allaoui, expert and legal advisor of GIWEH, attended a national workshop on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and climate change adaptation in Hammamet, Tunisia. More than 40 participants attended the event, which marked the beginning of a series of workshops, trainings, and activities taking place in the Upper Medjerda River Basin demonstration site, as well across the region and nation.
During this event, Mr. Allaouimade gave a presentation on the legal and institutional framework of the demand for and management of water in Tunisia, as well as moderated conversation within the thematic group on the same topic.
