As a member of the World Water Council, GIWEH is invited to participate in the Budapest Water Summit 2016, a high-profile conference to be held between  November 28-30, 2016 in Hungary.
The aim of the three-day event, organized by the Government of Hungary in cooperation with the World Water Council, is to promote the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets related to water and sanitation, as well as to achieve progress on the implementation of the water-related aspects of the Paris Climate Agreement. The event is expecting to bring over 1,200 guests from all around the globe--including high-ranking officials of the UN, high-level government delegates, prominent scientists, and representatives of the business and civil sectors.
