GIWEH contributed to one of the four Thematic Work Groups on ‘Stakeholder Engagement’, where policy indicators of the water governance principles were discussed. This workshop was at the OECD Water Governance Initiative (WGI) 4th meeting which was held in Paris, France on 24-25 November 2014.  The OECD Secretary General, Angel Guirria, and the President of the World Water Council, Benedito Braga were present. More than 115 participants from 20 countries participated at the meeting. The agenda included the contribution of the OECD-WGI to the 7th World Water Forum, peer-review of OECD reports, and group discussions of the first draft of OECD Principles on Water Governance.
