The Ministry of Public work and Housing - Indonesia and AWC concluded the stakeholders’ consultation meeting of the '2nd Asia International Water Week' in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the presence of the Minister Basuki Hadimuljono (Ministry of Public Works and Housing) and AWC President Hak-Soo Lee, Special Committee Chairs, Champions, Coordinators, Secretariat staff and Indonesian counterparts. The official date of the 2nd Asia International Water Week will be held in Bali- Indonesia from 10- 14 October 2020.

As a result 6 Special Committee Chairs who will lead 6 themes shared their detailed preparation status and suggested cross-cutting issues that align with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting outcomes were disseminated through the panel discussion, which is connected with the SDGs.

GIWEH presented by Dr. Nidal Salim will act as a champion of K&D, Theme number 6 and Ms. Asmita Baidya will be the focal point for the sub theme 6: Development of Knowledge Dissemination Methods.
