Korea International Water Week 2016 (KIWW) was eventful and the occasion for GIWEH to build new partnerships with Asian countries.
As part of the thematic session 8: “Water Information Beyond Data And Knowledge: Asia Dynamic Hub For Water, The Power Of Information”, GIWEH along with participants from academia and governments in countries such as Nepal, Vietnam, Korea, Cambodia and Laos gathered together to exchange experiences and ideas on knowledge, data and information exchange and monitoring at the national level.
The session resulted into fruitful and insightful discussions about building knowledge, data and information exchange together and finding solutions to water issues in Asia. GIWEH is looking forward to build upon these new connections and take action together.
